Are kidney beans healthy?

We eat a lot of rajma at home, and I always thought they were healthy. Can you confirm if kidney beans are considered a very healthy food overall, or are there some things I should be aware of?

They are super healthy, bro. I eat them twice a week for my gym diet. High fiber and clean protein, just don't make them super oily like dhaba style.

Yes, they are highly nutritious as they are packed with iron, folate, and potassium. Just ensure you never eat them raw or undercooked, as raw kidney beans have toxins that can cause severe vomiting.

They are indeed very nutritious, dear. If they give you gas, try soaking them with a bit of rock salt for at least 10 hours and then boil them with bay leaf. It really helps the digestion.

My health app shows they are extremely dense in micronutrients and prebiotic fiber. They are amazing for gut health, provided you integrate them slowly into your daily calorie limit.

Chill, they are super healthy! Just enjoy your rajma chawal over the weekend and don't stress about tracking every single bean.

They are safe and healthy, but as a diabetic, I have to be careful with the portion size because they do contain carbs. I usually eat them with lots of cucumber salad instead of rice.

Don't overthink it, kidney beans have been a staple in our Indian kitchens for generations. They are highly wholesome. Just eat them fresh and don't rely too much on canned versions.
