Are headaches common in pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester, and I've been getting headaches quite frequently, even though I'm usually not prone to them. My mom says it's normal, but I'm still worried. Are headaches common in pregnancy?

Oh, they are incredibly common, especially in the first trimester when your hormones are going wild! I used to get them almost every afternoon. Just make sure you are resting enough and drinking plenty of liquids.

I know exactly how scary it feels when you get persistent headaches and start worrying if something is wrong with the baby. It is a very common pregnancy symptom due to increased blood volume, but your anxiety is completely valid. Speak to your doctor to ease your mind.

My mother always suggested applying a little sandalwood paste or resting in a dark room for pregnancy headaches. They are indeed very common due to hormonal changes. However, we must always trust our gynecologist's advice for any pain relief.

I am in my second trimester and still get these annoying tension headaches almost daily. Is anyone else experiencing this so late in their pregnancy? I am starting to worry if my blood pressure is fluctuating.

Your hormones are basically running a daily marathon inside you, so a headache is just your brain asking for a timeout! Try to get some extra sleep and let your partner handle the house chores for a bit.

Headaches are common, but if they persist, doctors might ask you to get basic blood tests or BP monitoring done. You can easily get affordable BP monitors for home use or check with local labs that offer packages. Always consult your gynecologist first.

Sometimes those headaches are just your body demanding more snacks or water, haha! Mild dehydration or skipping meals can trigger them very fast during pregnancy. Try keeping small, healthy snacks nearby and sip coconut water.
