Are cucumbers good for pregnancy?

I'm in my first trimester and craving a lot of fresh, light foods. Cucumbers seem appealing, but I want to make sure everything I eat is safe for the baby. Are cucumbers generally considered good and safe to eat during pregnancy?

They are really good, especially if you need to keep your gestational sugar levels in check. Cucumbers don't have hidden sugars. Just wash them thoroughly to avoid any soil bacteria, which is very important during pregnancy.

Don't worry! I panicked so much during my first trimester about eating the wrong things, but my gynaecologist said cucumbers are excellent. They help with hydration and reduce morning sickness too.

My sister used to crave chilled cucumbers with a bit of lemon during her pregnancy. She said it really helped her feel fresh when she was feeling nauseous. So yeah, seems pretty good!

Beta, kheera khane se sharir me thandak rehti hai. Hamare yahan toh nani dadi bolti hain ki pregnancy me kheera khane se garmi nahi hoti. Bas dhyan rakhna ki acche se dhokar hi khana.
