Are black spots on teeth cavities?

My daughter has a few black spots on her molar teeth and I'm quite concerned. Her friends' parents said it might be cavities. Is it possible that these black spots are cavities, or can it be just staining?

My dentist explained that a black spot can either be an active cavity, an old cavity that has stopped growing, or simple stains from food and drinks. An actual physical examination with dental tools is the only way to be 100% sure.

Stay calm and don't let negative thoughts cloud your mind. Often these spots are harmless marks, but it is always good to have a kind doctor check your teeth to keep your health in harmony.

Every time I look in the mirror, I find some new spot to worry about! Honestly, half the time it is just staining from our endless cups of tea. Go to a dentist, get it cleaned, and save your peace of mind.

Just like keeping my blood pressure in check requires regular doctor visits, dental health also needs routine checkups. Don't wait for tooth pain to start; get those black spots evaluated by a dentist early.

I know how we tend to overthink every little change in our body. While it could be a cavity, it might also just be deep staining in the tooth grooves. Best to let a dentist check it quietly without stressing yourself.

Unless those black spots are speaking to you, they might just be yesterday's Oreo or some tea stains! Don't stress out, just get a professional cleaning done and they will disappear.
