Would colon polyps cause pain?

My doctor mentioned colon polyps during a recent consultation, and I've been having some abdominal discomfort lately. Would colon polyps typically cause pain in the stomach or lower abdomen, or is that usually not a symptom?

Honestly, haan, they can cause pain. Mere saath bhi hua tha. It wasn't constant, more like cramps or a dull ache in my lower abdomen, sometimes after eating. But it was definitely uncomfortable. Pls get it checked soon, earlier the better.

From what I've read on health apps, smaller polyps usually don't cause symptoms, but larger ones or if they're inflamed, they definitely can. Pain, changes in bowel habits, or even blood can be signs. You should definitely schedule a colonoscopy to get a clear picture of what's happening.

Hey, I don't have experience with polyps directly, but with my PCOS, sometimes I get weird pains that are hard to pinpoint. So it's totally possible polyps could cause pain. But don't just guess, na? It's always best to get a proper diagnosis from a doctor to be sure what's going on.

Bhai, yaar, I actually know someone who had polyps and they complained about stomach ache, like a weird cramping feeling. So yeah, it's possible. Don't just sit on it, go see a doc and figure out what's up.

Pain in the body is always a signal, a message that something needs attention. While yoga and gentle breathing can help manage general discomfort, for specific conditions like polyps, a medical professional's guidance is paramount. Please seek expert advice to understand the root cause of your pain.

My neighbour had colon polyps and she did feel some discomfort, though it wasn't severe pain for her initially. But listen, any new or persistent pain in your abdomen, especially related to digestion, should always be checked by a doctor without fail. Don't ignore it.

Aww, I hope you're okay! Yes, polyps can cause pain, especially if they grow bigger or if there are many of them. It can feel like cramping or discomfort. Definitely talk to your doctor about this so you can get relief and know what's best! 🤗

Beta, if you are having pain, especially anything unusual, you should always consult a doctor first. While some minor digestive issues can be helped by diet changes like more fiber and water, for polyps, you really need medical advice. Don't delay.
