Would an endocrinologist treat pcos?

I was recently diagnosed with PCOS, and my gynecologist referred me to an endocrinologist. I'm a bit confused about which doctor handles what. Is it typical for an endocrinologist to treat PCOS?

Haan ji, PCOS is basically a hormonal issue, so an endocrinologist is the right doctor to see. They specialize in hormones and glands. Don't waste time, go get it checked properly.

Dear sister, yes, an endocrinologist can help guide you with PCOS. But remember to keep a positive mind and holistic approach. Inner peace and self-care are also very important for balance.

I totally get why you're asking this. Navigating different doctors can be confusing. Yes, an endocrinologist is definitely the specialist for hormonal conditions like PCOS, so you're on the right track.

Please don't delay, definitely see an endocrinologist for PCOS. I ignored some symptoms for too long and it became more complicated. Get proper medical advice quickly, it's very important.

Oh, really? I was also wondering who to see for this. So an endocrinologist is the main one? Do they also suggest diet plans or is that a different doctor?

From my understanding and experience, yes, an endocrinologist looks after conditions related to hormones, which includes PCOS. Alongside medical treatment, gentle yoga and pranayama can also support overall well-being. It helps a lot.
