Will vinegar help dandruff?

I've been struggling with dandruff for ages, and none of the shampoos seem to work properly. My aunt suggested trying a vinegar rinse, saying it's a home remedy. Does vinegar actually help with dandruff, or is it just an old wives' tale?

Yes, actually! I had persistent dandruff and tried a diluted apple cider vinegar rinse once a week. It really helped balance my scalp's pH and reduced the flakes and itchiness a lot. Just make sure it's diluted, like one part vinegar to two parts water, or it can be too harsh. Rinse it off properly after a few minutes.

Vinegar, especially apple cider vinegar, is a popular home remedy for dandruff, and it's quite cheap compared to fancy shampoos. It works for many by changing scalp pH. If you want to try it, make sure to dilute it properly to avoid irritation. It's a low-cost option to try before spending on expensive treatments.

Oh, my Nani used to say vinegar is very good for hair! For dandruff, you mix a little vinegar with water and put it on your scalp, then wash. It cleans the scalp nicely. Many people in our village do this, and it helps them a lot. It's an old, simple trick, give it a try.

Vinegar, especially apple cider vinegar, is known for its antimicrobial properties, which can help with dandruff caused by fungal overgrowth. As someone focused on natural solutions, I'd say it's worth trying as a diluted rinse. Just ensure your diet is also good; sometimes scalp issues can be linked to internal health. Good luck!

For some types of dandruff, especially fungal ones, apple cider vinegar can be quite helpful because of its antifungal properties and ability to balance scalp pH. It might not work for everyone, especially if the dandruff is linked to other conditions or very severe. Always dilute it, and if it irritates, stop. Be gentle with your scalp.
