Will there ever be a cure for diabetes?

My father has been managing his diabetes for over twenty years now, and it's a constant struggle. I often think, will medical science ever find a permanent cure for diabetes?

Yaar, actually medical science is advancing so fast, na? I think a full cure might be possible someday, maybe for Type 1 first, with all the stem cell research. Fingers crossed!

A full cure is still far, but management has improved a lot. If you suspect anything, always get it checked immediately. Don't wait, it's safer to be sure.

They are doing a lot of research, so one can hope. For now, managing diet, regular walks, and timely medicines are the best 'cure' for many. Simple, but effective, no?

Betaji, we always pray for a cure. People say neem and karela juice help, but always with doctor's advice. Our ancestors also lived long by eating less sweet and walking. Modern science will find a way, I believe.

Yes, significant research is happening globally, and there's a strong possibility for a cure, especially for Type 1 diabetes, with advancements in cell therapy and genetic engineering. For Type 2, remission is often achievable with lifestyle changes. So, hope is definitely there.

I can only speak from my experience of seeing family members with diabetes. While a complete cure hasn't happened yet, the treatments and management options have become much better. Always talk to a specialist, that's what I recommend.

The way medical science is going, a cure is definitely on the horizon for some types of diabetes. But for now, strict discipline with diet and exercise, and proper medication, makes it very manageable. Don't lose hope.

Hope so! Just like thyroid, diabetes also needs continuous management. So while we wait for a cure, regular tests and strict follow-ups with your doctor are crucial to keep it in check.
