Will high blood pressure cause heart attack?

My husband has had high blood pressure for many years, and his doctor always tells him it's serious. I'm constantly worried about his health. Can high blood pressure directly cause a heart attack, or are there other factors involved?

Okay, so high blood pressure, if not managed, definitely increases your risk for a heart attack. It puts a lot of strain on your heart and blood vessels over time. That's why regular monitoring and medication, if prescribed, are super important. Don't skip your check-ups!

From my own experience with high BP, I can tell you that doctors always warn about heart attack risk. That's why I'm so strict with my diet, exercise, and meds. Regular check-ups are non-negotiable for me. Please make sure you're getting yours done.

Honestly, yes, it can. My aunt has high BP and her doctor always tells her to keep it in control because it's a big risk factor for heart problems. It's like, the constant pressure damages things inside. So, please take it seriously and follow your doctor's advice.

See, ignoring high BP can be very costly in the long run, not just health-wise but financially too. Heart attacks mean hospitalisation, procedures... all very expensive. It's better to invest in regular check-ups and medicines now, rather than facing big bills later. Prevention is key.
