Will guttate psoriasis go away on its own?

I've been diagnosed with guttate psoriasis recently, and I'm a bit worried. My doctor gave me some creams, but I'm curious if it can just go away by itself over time without much treatment. Does guttate psoriasis usually resolve on its own?

Ho na, I've heard sometimes it does, especially if it's after a strep throat infection. It's like your body reacting, and once the infection clears, the skin also gets better. But not always, haan na? Sometimes it stays longer, so it's always good to check with a doc if it doesn't clear up fast.

I can only speak from what I've observed and heard, not give medical advice. I know a friend who had guttate psoriasis after an infection, and for him, it gradually cleared up over a few months with some creams. But he still visited a dermatologist to make sure. So, it *can* resolve, but a doctor's check is always important.

Ah, another skin mystery! Sometimes these things do clear up on their own, especially if it's a reaction to something specific like an infection. It's like a bad cold, you wait it out. But if it lingers or gets worse, then it's time to call in the professionals. We can't let our skin have all the fun, can we?

I'm a bit worried about skin conditions, and guttate psoriasis sounds concerning. Does it really go away on its own most of the time? Has anyone here experienced it and it actually cleared up without much intervention? I'm always anxious about things becoming chronic.

Beta, many things that come suddenly, also go away. Guttate psoriasis, especially if it came after some sickness, often clears up by itself. Give your body time to heal. But if it is troubling you too much or staying long, then listen to the doctor. Don't worry too much, many people recover well from it.
