Will an ovarian cyst cause back pain?

My gynaecologist mentioned I have a small ovarian cyst during my last check-up, and since then I've been having some dull back pain, especially after standing for long. Is there any connection between the two, or am I just overthinking?

Oh yes, it totally can! Our bodies are so connected, so pain from an ovarian cyst can definitely radiate to the lower back. It's like a chain reaction. Hope you get it checked out soon! 😊

Haan, sometimes ovarian cysts can cause back pain, especially if they are large or pressing on nerves. It’s not uncommon. I've heard of many women experiencing this. While home remedies can help with general back pain, for something related to a cyst, it's best to consult a Gynae for proper diagnosis and treatment.

Yep, totally possible. I've read on health trackers and articles that ovarian cysts, especially if they're large or rupture, can cause referred pain, including in the lower back or pelvic area. It's important to track your symptoms and consult a doctor to understand the cause. Don't ignore it!

From what I know, yeah, ovarian cysts can cause lower back pain, especially if they are larger. It's less about exercise and more about internal issues. While staying active is good, for specific pain like this, you need proper medical diagnosis, maybe an ultrasound, to figure out what's going on.

Please don't ignore any pain, especially if it's unusual. I once dismissed some back pain thinking it was just muscle strain, but it turned out to be something else. Ovarian cysts can definitely cause back pain, sometimes dull, sometimes sharp. Get it checked by a doctor, don't wait like I did.

Yes, absolutely. Ovarian cysts can cause various symptoms, and lower back pain is one of them. Our bodies are complex, and issues in one area can show up as pain elsewhere. Just like with thyroid, it's about regular check-ups. A gynecologist should definitely be consulted to confirm and manage it.

Yes, it is possible for an ovarian cyst to cause back pain. My aunt had similar complaints once. The pain can sometimes radiate from the pelvis to the lower back. It is always wise to consult a good gynecologist for proper check-up and guidance. Don't delay.
