Will a massage help lower back pain?

I've been having persistent lower back pain for weeks now, especially after sitting for long hours. My friend suggested getting a massage. Can a massage really help to relieve this kind of lower back pain effectively?

Yeah, absolutely. For muscular lower back pain, a good massage can be really effective. It helps relax tight muscles, improve blood flow, and release tension. I get one regularly after heavy lifting sessions. But if it's nerve pain or injury, it's best to consult a physio or doc first. Along with massage, strengthening your core is key for long-term relief.

For lower back pain due to muscle strain or stiffness, a massage can be wonderfully helpful. I always prefer natural methods. It helps relax the muscles and increases circulation, bringing relief. So yes, it's a good natural option for comfort. But if the pain is severe, constant, or accompanied by numbness, please don't hesitate to see a doctor immediately, as it could be something more serious.

Namaste. For general muscle aches in the lower back, a gentle massage, especially with some warm oil, can give good comfort. My grandmother used to always give us oil massages. It helps relax the muscles. But if the pain is very sharp, or feels like it's coming from the bones, then it is important to go to a doctor, no? Better to get a proper check-up.

Yes, a good massage is a very practical and effective solution for many types of lower back pain, especially if it's muscular. It helps to loosen stiff muscles and improve blood flow. Many times, the pain is just from sitting wrong or overexertion, and a massage can bring a lot of relief. You don't always need expensive treatments for every ache.

Lower back pain can be so annoying! A massage can definitely help for muscular pain or tension, making you feel more relaxed. It's often recommended by physiotherapists too. However, if your pain is severe, constant, or accompanied by other symptoms like numbness, it's crucial to consult a doctor to rule out anything more serious. Don't overdo the massage either.
