Will a fatty liver go away?

My doctor told me I have a mild fatty liver and suggested some lifestyle changes. I'm wondering, if I follow all the advice, will this fatty liver condition actually go away completely, or is it something I'll always have?

Yes, absolutely! For many people, a fatty liver can be completely reversed, especially if caught early. The key is consistent lifestyle changes: cutting down on processed foods and sugars, and getting regular exercise like daily brisk walks. It's all about dedication, just like hitting your fitness goals!

Ho na, achhe se diet aur exercise kiya toh fatty liver kam ho sakta hai, aur sometimes poora chala bhi jaata hai. It mainly depends on how seriously you take care of your body. Doctors say it's reversible for many. So, there's hope!

Yes, non-alcoholic fatty liver disease (NAFLD) is often reversible through significant lifestyle modifications. This primarily involves weight loss, a healthy diet low in sugars and unhealthy fats, and regular physical activity. However, it requires sustained effort and it's crucial to consult your doctor for a personalized management plan.

Beta, many years ago, my neighbour had fatty liver. The doctor told her to change her eating habits and walk every day. And slowly, slowly, it did improve. So yes, it can go away, but you have to be disciplined and listen to your doctor. Don't lose hope.

I can only speak from what I've seen and heard, not give medical advice. But I know a few people who were told they had fatty liver and with strict diet and exercise, their follow-up scans showed it had cleared up. So it seems possible for many. It's a matter of making those changes.

Haan, good news is that for many people, especially if it's caught early, fatty liver is totally reversible. It means making some serious changes to diet and exercise, but it's very much doable. Just follow your doctor's advice properly, and you'll be fine.
