Why you should never sleep on your right side?

Someone on a health forum said that you should never sleep on your right side. I usually sleep on my right side. Is there any truth to this, or is it just some internet rumour?

Hmm, I've heard some conflicting things about this. Is there a specific reason being given?

Honestly, I sleep on whatever side feels comfortable! Sometimes I start on one and end up on another. I think for pregnant women, they advise sleeping on the left, but for general health, I haven't heard a strict 'never' for the right side. Maybe it depends on individual health.

Hey, don't stress too much about these things, yaar! We spend half our lives worrying about how to sleep. Unless a doctor specifically tells YOU not to sleep on your right side for a particular health reason, just go with what feels natural and comfortable. Your body usually knows best!

It's easy to get anxious reading all these rules about health, I used to do that a lot. While there are some general recommendations for sleeping positions (like for digestion or heartburn), a universal 'never' for the right side sounds a bit extreme. If you're generally healthy, just focus on good sleep hygiene.

Haha, next they'll tell us not to breathe on Tuesdays! Seriously, unless you have a specific medical condition or are pregnant (where left side is often advised), just find a position that lets you get good sleep. My body changes positions like a chameleon anyway. If I could choose, I'd sleep on a cloud!

Be careful with such absolute statements you find online. There's a lot of misinformation out there. For general health, comfort is usually key. If you have any specific health concerns, it's always best to ask a qualified doctor about sleeping positions rather than trusting random internet advice.

After a big, delicious dinner, I just want to crash on any side that lets me digest all that food happily! 😂 Some say left side is better for digestion, but I think a good meal and a comfortable bed are more important. Don't overthink it, just make sure you're sleeping enough.
