Why most people dont know theyre infected with hepatitis c?

My friend was recently diagnosed with Hepatitis C and she had no idea she had it for years. It made me wonder, why do most people not know they're infected with Hepatitis C? Are there no early symptoms?

This is true, many illnesses used to go undetected in our time because testing wasn't so advanced. Hepatitis C is tricky because it often has no clear symptoms for many years, so people feel fine and don't think to get checked. It's a silent disease, but thankfully now we have ways to find it.

Sometimes our bodies give subtle signs, but with diseases like this, it can be very quiet. It reminds us to be mindful of our health, listen to our inner self, and take care. It's important to keep a positive spirit and also do our part by getting check-ups, so we can know and heal.

Honestly, it's just one of those sneaky diseases, yaar! It doesn't scream for attention like a fever or a cough. You can feel totally normal while it's slowly doing its thing. That's why doctors now say everyone should get screened at least once. Don't stress too much, just get that one test done if you're worried.

It's a problem because the symptoms are either absent or very mild and general, like fatigue, which anyone can have. So people don't suspect anything serious. The best solution is to get regular health check-ups that include screening for things like Hepatitis C, especially if you have any risk factors. It's a simple blood test.
