Why isn't my fitbit tracking my sleep?

My Fitbit is tracking my steps and heart rate fine, but the sleep tracking feature seems to be off. Sometimes it says I slept for 2 hours when I know I slept for 7-8. Is there some trick to making it work better?

I'm not a doc, but from my own experience with Fitbit, sometimes it just needs a good restart. Or, if the battery is low when you go to bed, it won't track. Also, make sure it's snug on your wrist, not too loose. Those are the first things I check when mine acts up.

I totally get it, it's so frustrating when you rely on these devices and they don't work! For Fitbit, usually, it won't track sleep if the battery is below 20-30%. Also, check if it's set to 'normal' or 'sensitive' sleep tracking in the app – sometimes 'sensitive' might pick up too much movement and think you're awake.

Proper sleep is crucial for managing conditions like high BP, so it's good you're trying to track it. If your Fitbit isn't working, first check battery and strap tightness. But remember, the device is just a guide. If you genuinely feel unrested despite trying these fixes, talk to your doctor about your sleep quality. Your health comes first.

Hey, don't worry too much about it right away. Sometimes these gadgets can be a bit finicky. First, try charging your Fitbit completely and then give it a quick restart. Also, check if you have updated the app recently. If you've done all that, and it's still an issue, sometimes their customer support can help troubleshoot specific models. It'll probably be something small.

Oh, that sounds annoying. Mine sometimes stops tracking too, and it makes me wonder if I'm even sleeping properly then! Have others experienced this? Is it a common Fitbit glitch or should I be worried about my sleep patterns? I usually just restart it, but it's not a permanent fix.
