Why is my liver function elevated?

My blood test results came back and my liver function tests are elevated. My doctor said it needs monitoring, but I'm quite anxious about what this could mean for my health. What could be the reasons?

Ah, the old 'my liver is working overtime' club! Don't worry, it's not always a dramatic Bollywood villain situation. Sometimes it's just your body saying, 'Boss, maybe less biryani and more bhindi, eh?' But seriously, doc will tell you the real reason.

Betaji, don't get too scared by a single report. Many times, it's something simple, like a medication or even just a heavy meal before the test. My husband had this once, and it turned out to be nothing major. But do show it to your doctor, they will know best.

I've been looking into this too! Apparently, elevated liver enzymes can happen for so many reasons, from fatty liver to some medicines you might be taking. It's confusing, right? Best to get proper medical advice instead of just Googling, I guess.

It's totally normal to feel anxious when you see something like 'elevated liver function' on a report. I've been there! Don't let it consume you. Your doctor will help you understand what's going on and what steps to take. You're not alone in feeling worried.

Another day, another organ acting up! My liver function was also elevated once, turned out I was just enjoying my 'chai-pakora' ritual a bit too much. Could be anything, so don't hit the panic button yet. Doctor visit is a must, they've seen it all.
