Why is my fever not going away?

I've had a low-grade fever for over a week now, and it just doesn't seem to go away. I've been taking paracetamol, but it only brings it down temporarily. What could be causing such a persistent fever?

Oh, that sounds worrying. How long has the fever been there? I hope you are taking your medicines regularly. Have you tried any home remedies along with medicines?

Uff, this fever, it loves to stick around like an uninvited guest, na? My body has started protesting against everything these days. But seriously, if it's persistent, definitely go back to the doctor. Don't let it become a full-time resident in your body!

Long-lasting fever is definitely something to take seriously. It could be a persistent viral infection, or sometimes it can point to other underlying conditions. Please, don't ignore it or just keep taking medicines without a proper diagnosis. A doctor's review is a must.

When my son had a fever that wouldn't go away, the doctor had to run a few tests to figure out the exact cause. It's not always a simple viral. Make sure you're following the doctor's instructions, and if it's still not settling, go for a follow-up. They might need to change the medication or investigate further.

My doctor always stresses the importance of follow-ups and blood tests if something isn't resolving. A persistent fever can sometimes indicate issues like inflammation or even thyroid problems, though it's rare. Don't delay seeing the doctor again. Get proper tests done.

A persistent fever might need blood tests, which can add up. Best to revisit your doctor and discuss what tests are absolutely necessary to pinpoint the issue. Don't shy away from asking for generic medicines if available to save cost. Health is important, but smart planning helps too.

For someone like me with diabetes, any prolonged fever is a red flag. It affects sugar levels drastically. So, please, if your fever isn't going away, you must see your doctor again. They might need to adjust your treatment or check for secondary infections. Keep eating light, digestible food.

Yaar, fever not going away is not good. Actually, it means the infection is still there or kuch aur problem hai. Don't just suffer through it, go to your doc again. They might need to change your antibiotics or something. Take care, haan!
