Why is my fever going up and down?

My daughter has had a fever for three days now, but it keeps going up and down. One moment it's high, then it drops, and then it's back up again. Should I be concerned about this fluctuation?

Haan, sometimes fever aise hi upar neeche hota rehta hai, specially viral mein. Din mein thik lagega, raat ko phir chad jayega. But if it's going on for too many days, na, toh doctor ko dikhana zaroori hai. Pani peete raho bas.

Oh my god, I used to panic so much when this happened to me! I thought something seriously wrong was going on. But usually, it's just your body fighting off an infection, and the fever fluctuates as the meds work or as the day progresses. Just keep taking your medicines on time and rest.

Your fever is just playing hide-and-seek, yaar! 😉 Jokes aside, it's usually how the body reacts to infections. Keep yourself hydrated, take your meds, and tell your fever to stop messing around! If it continues, then make an appointment with the doc.

When my BP was high, I used to get strange body sensations, sometimes hot, sometimes cold. So, fluctuations can be a sign your body is under stress. Make sure you're resting well and eating right. If it's persistent, definitely get a blood test done and check your vitals.

That oscillating fever can be quite unsettling, I totally get that feeling of worry! When my fever used to go up and down, I'd immediately think the worst. It's okay to feel anxious, but focus on keeping yourself comfortable and consult a doctor to ease your mind.

Oh, this is exactly what happened to me last month! I tried haldi doodh, giloy, everything! The fever would drop and then come back. Eventually, I had to see the doctor. They said it's common for viral fevers to fluctuate, but it's important to rule out dengue or malaria if it lasts long.

My smart thermometer used to show similar patterns when I had the flu. It's usually your body's immune response fluctuating. Keep logging your temperature and symptoms, it helps the doctor diagnose better. Also, check your hydration levels, sometimes dehydration can affect body temp regulation.

Don't worry too much, bachcha. It's quite common for fevers to go up and down, especially with viral infections. Just make sure you're hydrated, taking your prescribed medicine, and getting plenty of rest. If it's been many days, then of course, let the doctor re-evaluate.

When the body is fighting something, its energy levels fluctuate, which can show up as an up-and-down fever. Focus on gentle breathing exercises to calm your mind and body. And nourish yourself with light, warm food. But for sure, medical consultation is important for persistent fevers.

I've read that fever fluctuations can happen with certain infections because your body is constantly trying to regulate its temperature as it fights off pathogens. Sometimes it's normal, but sometimes it could mean something specific. What has your doctor said about it?

Ho na, fever kabhi kabhi aise hi aata jaata rehta hai. Your body is fighting something probably. Take paracetamol if it goes too high, and drink plenty of warm water. And definitely consult your doctor if it continues for more than 2-3 days.

I just recovered from this exact thing! My fever was playing games, up one hour, down the next. My doctor said it's super common with viral infections, just keep taking your medicines on time and don't skip them even if you feel better. Rest is key!
