Why is my breath hot but no fever?

Lately, I've noticed my breath feels hot, almost like I have a fever, but when I check my temperature, it's normal. I'm not feeling unwell otherwise. What could cause my breath to feel hot when I don't have a fever?

That sounds really unsettling and can definitely make you worried, I know that feeling of unease when something feels off but there's no clear reason. It's okay to feel concerned about it.

Sometimes with diabetes, if sugar levels are high, one can feel dry mouth and 'hot' inside, even without fever. But this sounds like it needs a medical checkup, don't assume. Hydration is always important.

Hmm, that's an interesting one! I've heard sometimes it could be dehydration or even acid reflux? Or maybe a sign of a mild infection starting, but no fever yet. But I'm just guessing from what I've read online.

Could be dehydration, a minor throat irritation, or even anxiety. If it persists, just call your GP. They'll rule out anything significant quickly.

My grandmother used to say sometimes it's 'body heat' or if you eat something very spicy. But if it's bothering you, it's always best to ask a doctor. They can check properly and tell you if it's just normal or something to look into.
