Why is it important to get enough sleep?

My husband always says I need to get more sleep, but with work and kids, it's tough. I know it's good for you, but can someone explain *why* it's so important to get enough sleep, beyond just feeling rested?

Honestly, when I don't get enough sleep, my mood just goes downhill. I feel irritable, anxious, and can't focus. It really impacts my emotional well-being more than I realized. It's a struggle to function when you're perpetually tired.

For me, getting enough sleep is crucial for managing my blood pressure. My doctor always emphasizes that poor sleep can elevate BP. It's part of the holistic lifestyle changes I've made, along with regular check-ups. So yes, it's very important for health.

I used to brag about surviving on 4 hours of sleep. Big mistake. My focus was terrible, I was constantly tired, and my immunity dropped. Now I realize how important it is. Don't take your sleep for granted, it's not a badge of honor to be sleep-deprived.

Haan na, sleep is super important! If you don't sleep properly, your brain doesn't work right, you feel cranky, aur immunity bhi kam ho jaati hai. It's like charging your phone, if you don't charge it fully, it will die in the middle of the day. Same for us!

It's like pressing a reset button for your whole body and mind. When I don't get enough sleep, I feel foggy and my body aches. I've tried various things like warm milk, a dark room, and essential oils to help. It truly makes a difference in how you feel the next day.
