Why don't i get cavities?

My dentist always praises my teeth and says I have no cavities, even though I love sweets and don't brush three times a day. My friends, who are so careful, always get cavities. Is there some genetic thing or what? Just curious.

Honestly, you're lucky! Maybe it's genetics? My dentist always says some people just naturally have stronger enamel. Keep up whatever you're doing with brushing and flossing, it's clearly working for you!

Could be your diet, too. I track my sugar intake with an app, and less sugar definitely helps teeth. Also, some research shows certain bacteria in your mouth can protect against cavities. So maybe your oral microbiome is just on point!

That sounds great, but sometimes no cavities can hide other issues. Like, are you getting regular checkups? My cousin didn't have cavities but had gum disease develop silently. Best to always consult your dentist and make sure everything is good.

Beta, sometimes it's just good genes! My son is like that, hardly ever gets a cavity. But don't take it for granted. Brush twice a day, floss, and a yearly dental visit is a must, even if you feel fine. Prevention is always better.

Good oral hygiene is key, obviously, but also your overall health contributes. If your diet is clean, less processed sugar, and you drink enough water, your body handles things better, including your teeth. Keep those healthy habits going!
