Why doesnt bellatrix feel any pain during crucio?

This is a bit of a hypothetical question from a book I read. In it, a character named Bellatrix is hit with a 'Crucio' curse, which is supposed to cause immense pain, but she doesn't react. Why wouldn't someone feel pain during Crucio, even if it's fictional?

This question seems to be about a fictional character from a story. In real life, if a person experiences any kind of severe pain or a lack of sensation that is unusual, they should immediately consult a doctor. Never ignore serious symptoms, always get them checked for safety.

Oh, is Bellatrix a character from a movie or something? I'm not familiar. But if it's about real people, is it possible for someone to genuinely not feel pain from something that should be painful? Is that a medical condition?

Bellatrix Lestrange is a character from Harry Potter. The Cruciatus Curse is magical torture, and she is depicted as reveling in it, not feeling 'pain' in the conventional sense because she enjoys inflicting suffering. This is a fictional narrative point, not a medical query. For real health questions, please consult a medical professional at a good hospital.

Bellatrix is a character from Harry Potter, beta. She is a dark witch, and her evil nature means she enjoys suffering, so the Cruciatus Curse doesn't affect her the same way it does good people. It's fiction, not real medical information. For real kids with real pain, always take them to the doctor.

This question is about Bellatrix Lestrange from Harry Potter! She doesn't feel pain during Crucio because she enjoys causing pain and misery to others, and the curse works best when the caster truly desires to torture. It's a plot point in the books. For real-life physical pain, it's always best to get medical attention.
