Why does my tb skin test itch?

I recently got a TB skin test done, and the area where it was injected has been itching like crazy. It's a bit red too, but not swollen much. Is it normal for it to itch so much, or does it mean something?

Beta, yeh jo TB skin test hota hai na, usme thoda itching toh hoti hi hai. Woh ek reaction hota hai. Tum uss jagah ko zyada khujlana mat. Halki si thandi patti rakh sakte ho, ya doctor se pooch ke koi mild cream laga lo. Lekin test ka result sahi aana chahiye, uska dhyan rakhna.

Hmm, itching after a TB skin test? It could be a normal reaction, but it's always better to get it checked by the doctor who administered it. They can confirm if it's just mild irritation or something else that needs attention. Don't take chances with health matters.

Hi, I have thyroid issues so I'm very particular about my tests. An itchy TB test site is usually just a local reaction, but it's best to show it to the doctor who did the test. They will measure the induration (the raised part) and tell you if it's positive or negative. Don't rub or scratch it much before they check.

I totally get it, itching can be so annoying! The TB skin test works by causing a reaction if you've been exposed to the bacteria, so some itching and redness is pretty common. Just try not to scratch it, as that can affect the reading. Wait for your doctor to examine it properly.

Oh, I'm not very familiar with TB tests. Is it normal for it to itch a lot? Mine sometimes itches a bit after vaccinations too. Should I put something on it, or just leave it alone till the doctor checks it?

Haan na, thoda itch toh hota hi hai. Woh test ka part hai. Bas usko zyada haath mat lagao. Doctor jab check karenge, tab hi unko dikhana. Result ke liye important hai woh. Ho jayega theek.

Look, an itchy TB skin test site is usually normal. It's a localized immune response, part of how they check for exposure. Just make sure you don't scratch it or put anything on it, because that can interfere with the results. Get it read at the right time by a professional.
