Why does lack of sleep cause dark circles?

My exams are going on, and I'm hardly sleeping. I've noticed really dark circles under my eyes and everyone keeps commenting. I'm wondering why lack of sleep causes them, is there any way to prevent it?

Dark circles are a small sign, but they tell you something. Like with my high BP, doctors always emphasize good sleep and less stress. When you're sleep-deprived, your body isn't regenerating properly, and blood vessels can dilate, making those circles more prominent. It's all connected to overall health, haan.

Oh, bitiya, it's just like how a tired field looks dry and dull. When you don't sleep enough, your blood doesn't flow as well, and the skin under your eyes is very thin, so those veins show more easily. My nani used to say, 'achhi neend lo toh chehre pe ronak rehti hai!' Simple, no?

Haan, dark circles are a clear sign that you're not getting enough rest. It's a simple, visible indicator. The practical solution is always to fix your sleep schedule. Try to sleep and wake up at the same time, even on weekends. Also, make sure your pillow is comfortable. Small changes make a big difference.

Oh my God, dark circles are the worst! It's like my body is literally yelling 'feed me more sleep, not just chai!' When I don't sleep, I also crave all the unhealthy snacks, which probably doesn't help either. So, it's a double whammy for my face and my tummy! 😂

Bro, my dark circles are practically a map of my exam week! 😂 Seriously though, when you don't sleep, your blood vessels get more prominent under your eyes because the skin is super thin there. Plus, dehydration from not sleeping enough can make it worse. So yeah, gotta catch those Zs!

It's pretty straightforward, actually. Lack of sleep causes your blood vessels under the thin skin of your eyes to dilate, making them more visible. Plus, you get a buildup of fluid. Basically, your body gets stressed and shows it right there. Just get some rest!

Instead of spending money on expensive under-eye creams that might not even work, it's much more practical and cost-effective to just get enough sleep! Good sleep is free, after all. Also, if they persist even with good sleep, then maybe consider seeing a doctor, but start with the basics first.
