I've heard sleep is super important for our brains. Is it true that our brain actually cleans itself during deep sleep? Like, literally washes away toxins?

My elders always said sleep is as important as food. Scientifically, it's crucial for memory consolidation, hormonal regulation, and cellular repair. It also strengthens our immune system. If you have serious sleep issues, please consult a doctor; they know best.

Scientifically, sleep allows our cardiovascular system to relax, which is very important, especially for someone with high BP like me. It helps regulate blood pressure, sugar levels, and repairs tissues. Regular checkups and good sleep are non-negotiable for health.

I recently had a period of terrible insomnia, and my doctor really drilled into me how critical sleep is. She explained it's when our brain processes memories, clears out waste products, and our entire body repairs itself. Seriously, it impacts everything, from immunity to mood. I feel so much better now that I prioritize it.

Scientifically, we need sleep because otherwise our brains would melt into a puddle of unresolved thoughts and caffeine cravings! It's basically like a nightly software update and defragmentation for your grey matter. Without it, you'd just crash, literally!
