Why do toddlers sleep with their bum in the air?
My two-year-old son always sleeps with his bum in the air, face down. It looks very cute but also a bit odd. Is there any particular reason why toddlers sleep in this position?

I totally get why you'd wonder that, it's quite a funny sight! Toddlers sleep like that, often called the 'w-position' or 'frog-leg' position, because it's comfortable and stable for them. Their bodies are still developing, and this position helps them feel secure and supported while they sleep. It's usually nothing to worry about.
Yaar, actually, it's super common for toddlers. They find it comfortable and secure. Their bodies are still super flexible, aur that position helps them feel stable and cozy. It's just a phase, most kids grow out of it. Nothing to stress about unless they seem uncomfortable.
Mostly it's normal for toddlers to sleep in funny positions, this one included, as it's comfortable for them. But as a general rule, if you notice any unusual sleeping habits, or if the child seems restless, snores loudly, or gasps for air, always mention it to their pediatrician. It's good to be cautious.
It's a very common sleeping position for toddlers and young children, often referred to as the 'prone position with bottom in the air' or 'knee-chest position'. It's primarily because it provides them with a sense of security and comfort. Their joints are highly flexible, making this a natural and often preferred position for deep sleep. It's generally not a concern.
Oh, my younger cousin sleeps like that sometimes, and I always wondered why! Is it just a comfortable position for them because they're small, or is there a specific reason? It looks a bit weird, haha.
