Why do some people talk in their sleep?

My friend talks in his sleep almost every night, sometimes having full conversations. I find it really weird and amusing at the same time. Why do some people talk in their sleep?

Sleep talking, or somniloquy, is actually quite common and usually harmless. It often happens during lighter stages of sleep, or when someone is stressed or overtired. It can also run in families. Mostly, it's just random words or phrases from their subconscious mind. Nothing to worry about, just sometimes a bit funny to hear!

Sleep talking is quite normal for many, often due to stress or exhaustion. Try to ensure they have a relaxing routine before bed, maybe some warm milk or light reading. If it becomes very loud, violent, or they start acting out dreams, then it's wise to consult a doctor, as it could indicate a more significant sleep issue.

Oh, this happens to many people! It's usually harmless. Sleep talking can be triggered by stress, fever, or even just being super tired. Sometimes it's hereditary too. While it's generally not a serious issue, if it's very frequent, disruptive, or accompanied by other odd sleep behaviors, a doctor might want to rule out other sleep disorders. Always better to be cautious.

Haan, log sote hue baat karte hain na, it's quite common. Mostly it happens when you're super stressed, ya bahut thak gaye ho. Sometimes fever se bhi ho jata hai. Family mein bhi chalta hai. It's generally harmless, unka brain bas process kar raha hota hai cheezein.

Yaar, actually, sleep talking is a super common thing! It's called somniloquy. Mostly it happens if you're really stressed, or if you're too tired, or even if you have a fever. Sometimes it's just hereditary. Your brain is just processing stuff, you know? It's usually nothing to worry about.
