Why do some get cancer and others don't?
My uncle recently got cancer, and it made me think about how some people get it and others don't, even with similar lifestyles. Is there a reason why some get cancer and others don't?
My uncle recently got cancer, and it made me think about how some people get it and others don't, even with similar lifestyles. Is there a reason why some get cancer and others don't?
It's truly a complex question. My oncologist explained that cancer isn't just one disease; it's many. It occurs when cells mutate and grow uncontrollably. Factors like genetics play a big role – some inherit higher risk. Then there's lifestyle (smoking, diet, alcohol, sun exposure), environmental toxins, and even infections. Sometimes, it's just bad luck with random cell mutations. It's a combination of these elements, making it difficult to predict who gets it and who doesn't, even with similar lifestyles.
Bhai, it's not simple. Some people have genes that make them more prone, others might have bad luck with mutations. Then there's lifestyle – smoking, bad food, pollution, all this adds up. Some bodies just fight it better, or maybe they don't encounter the triggers. It's a mix of everything, can't pinpoint just one reason. Take care of yourself, that's all you can do.
It's a question that can really weigh heavily on your mind, especially if you've seen someone close go through it. It feels so unfair, doesn't it? The truth is, there's no single easy answer. It's a cruel mix of genetics, environmental factors, choices, and pure chance. It’s okay to feel angry or confused by it, because it is a devastating disease.
Oh god, this thought always scares me! It's so unpredictable. I read it's a combination of so many things like your genes, what you eat, if you smoke, pollution... and sometimes just random cell errors. It makes you feel like you can never truly be safe. But then I try to focus on what I can control, like eating healthy. It's such a heavy topic, right?
I just finished my treatment for cancer last year. My doctors told me it's often a mix of factors. For me, it was genetic, but also years of stress and a less-than-ideal lifestyle could have contributed. Some people just get unlucky with cell mutations. The most important thing is early detection and not ignoring any symptoms. That truly saved me.
Haan, yeh toh bohot mushkil sawaal hai na. Humare ghar mein bhi ek do cases hain. Doctor log bolte hain ki genetics ka bhi role hota hai, aur lifestyle ka bhi, jaise khana-peena, smoking. Aur kabhi kabhi toh bas body mein koi random galti ho jaati hai cells mein. It's very complex, cannot say one reason.
Life's journey is unpredictable, and our bodies are complex. Cancer, in its essence, is when cells lose their way. It can be due to many factors – our karmic blueprint, environmental influences, the way we nourish our bodies and minds. The best we can do is live mindfully, take care of our health, and maintain a positive spirit. Embrace life, whatever it brings.
