Oh god, this thought always scares me. Is it always because of lifestyle, or can it just happen? Sometimes I get a sudden chest pain and I just freeze. Has anyone else felt that random chest pain and worried?

It's a scary thought, isn't it? A heart attack typically happens when blood flow to a part of the heart is blocked, often by a clot formed from plaque buildup in the arteries. This plaque builds up over time due to various factors. It's okay to feel anxious about it, many do.

Mainly because of unhealthy lifestyle choices over years – lack of exercise, bad diet, stress, smoking. Regular physical activity, even brisk walking for 30 minutes daily, makes a huge difference. Of course, check with your doctor first if you have existing conditions.

Mostly it's our daily habits accumulating over years - eating too much oily food, not moving enough, stress. Simple things like eating ghar ka khaana, walking for an hour, and trying to manage stress can go a long way. Not always easy, but important.

I totally get why this question comes up, it's a common fear. It usually happens when the blood supply to the heart muscle is cut off, often because of plaque building up in the arteries over time. Many factors contribute, like genetics and lifestyle, so it's complex.

Heart attacks are primarily caused by coronary artery disease, where arteries supplying the heart narrow due to plaque. Risk factors include genetics, age, and lifestyle choices like smoking, poor diet, lack of exercise, and uncontrolled conditions like diabetes or high BP. For any concerns, a cardiologist's assessment is crucial.

High blood pressure, high cholesterol, diabetes, and smoking are big culprits. My doctor always stresses on regular checkups to monitor these and manage them with medication and diet. Ignoring these signs can lead to serious issues like a heart attack.
