Why do my eyes burn when i have a fever?

Last week I had a fever, and my eyes felt really hot and had a burning sensation. It was quite uncomfortable. My mother said it's common with fever, but I'm curious why eyes burn specifically when you have one.

Hey, don't stress too much! My eyes always burn when I have a fever, it's super annoying. It's probably because your body is dehydrated and your eyes are getting dry. Also, the inflammation from the fever can make them feel irritated. Just try to rest and drink lots of fluids, okay?

Oh, that's a classic fever symptom! I've had it many times. It's often due to dehydration, as your body uses a lot of fluids to fight infection. Also, the inflammation that comes with a fever can affect your eyes, making them feel dry and burny. Stay hydrated, take paracetamol if you can, and rest your eyes. Cool compresses can offer some relief.

Maybe your eyes are just feeling the heat from all the drama happening inside your body! Haha! But seriously, it's mostly because your body is dehydrated when you have a fever, and also the inflammation makes your eyes feel like they're on fire. So drink up, rehydrate, and rest those poor eyeballs!

Yaar, that's a very common symptom, actually. When you have a fever, your body temperature is high, which can make your eyes feel dry and irritated. Plus, sometimes the inflammation from the infection also affects the eyes. Dehydration also plays a big role. So drink lots of fluids, haan.

It's common for eyes to burn during a fever. It's often due to dehydration and the general inflammation in your body. Resting your eyes and drinking plenty of water can help. Hope you feel better soon.

Having burning eyes on top of a fever is truly miserable, I totally understand how uncomfortable that must be. It's usually because your body is fighting off an infection, causing general inflammation and often dehydration. This makes your eyes feel dry, gritty, and hot. It's okay to feel really rough when you're going through that.

Seriously, everything burns when you have a fever, including your soul! But on a practical note, eyes burn because your body is a desert when you're feverish – dehydration is real. Plus, the internal inflammation makes everything feel hot and bothered. My eyes feel like they've been through a bonfire. Just wanna close 'em and sleep for a week.
