Why do infants smile during sleep?
My little one, barely 2 months old, often has these sweet little smiles while she's sleeping. It's adorable to watch her. My mother says it's just 'wind' but I'm wondering if it means anything else.

Babies smiling in sleep is quite common, doc told me it's often involuntary, maybe reflexes. Just like when I had high BP, my doctor said stress and lifestyle are big factors. Always good to observe their patterns, but generally nothing to worry about unless there are other concerns.
My grandmother used to say babies smile because angels are talking to them in their sleep. It's a very sweet thought, no? But realistically, doctors say it's just a reflex or part of their developing brain activity. Still, enjoy the moment!
Arre, chote bachche toh bhagwan ka roop hote hain na! Jab sote hain toh lagta hai jaise sapne mein khel rahe honge ya maa ko dekh rahe honge. Bahut pyara lagta hai dekhne mein, mann khush ho jaata hai.
I think it's just reflex action, like how adults sometimes twitch in sleep. For babies, their systems are still developing. Maybe it's a sign of a good, deep sleep session! Important for growth, just like my walks are important for my fitness.
When my baby smiled in sleep, I used to worry if it meant something was wrong or if they were uncomfortable. It's totally okay to feel a bit anxious about every tiny thing when you're a new parent. But it's usually very normal, just baby things.
Oh, my son used to do this all the time! We even caught it on video once, it was adorable. Our pediatrician said it's completely normal, often linked to their REM sleep cycle or just gas. No need to stress, enjoy the cuteness!

Look, don't go searching for complicated reasons online for this. It's just a baby's reflex, very common. If you are really concerned, ask your pediatrician. Don't start giving them some 'gharelu nuskha' because of some random advice.
Haan na, my baby also used to do this! It's so cute. I read somewhere that it could be because of gas or just brain activity during REM sleep. Nothing serious ho na, just enjoy those sweet little smiles!
