Why do i snore when i sleep?

My wife often nudges me awake because I snore very loudly. I don't even realize I'm doing it! It's starting to affect her sleep, and I'm wondering why I snore when I sleep.

Oh, my husband snores a lot too, and it really disturbs my sleep sometimes. Is it always a sign of something serious, or can it just be normal for some people?

Could be many things, beta. My wife used to snore when she gained some weight, and also when she sleeps on her back. Try changing your sleeping position first. Sometimes even a nasal strip helps clear the passage a bit. Small things can make a difference.

Dude, I used to snore like a truck! Turned out I was super congested from allergies. Once I got that sorted, it got way better. Also, sleeping on my side helps a lot.

Hmm, maybe you ate too much biryani right before bed? Just kidding! But seriously, sometimes heavy meals or late-night snacks can affect breathing. Or maybe it's just stress from craving too many yummy things all day!

Snoring can sometimes be innocent, but it can also be linked to sleep apnea, which needs proper attention. Please don't ignore it. It's always best to get it checked by a doctor, just to be safe and understand the cause properly.
