Why do i slob in my sleep?

My husband often finds a wet patch on the pillow next to me in the morning. He says I slobber a lot in my sleep! It's a bit embarrassing, and I'm wondering if there's any way to stop it.

My grandmother always said it means you are in deep sleep and very relaxed! While it's often harmless and common, if it's new or excessive, it could be a sign of something like a blocked nose or even acid reflux. It's good to mention it to your family doctor to be sure.

Oh, I totally get why you'd ask this! I've woken up with a wet pillow more times than I can count. I looked it up once, and apparently, it's often linked to sleeping on your side or stomach, or maybe even a stuffy nose making you breathe through your mouth. It's super common, I think.

Slob in sleep, eh? Maybe your mouth just decides it's time for a little waterfall! Jokes aside, it's very common, especially if you sleep on your side or stomach. Could also be a blocked nose making you breathe through your mouth. If it's a new thing, maybe get it checked once.

Oh gosh, this happens to me sometimes and it makes me a bit anxious! I always wonder if I'm breathing weirdly or something. Does anyone else get really worried when they drool a lot in their sleep? Like, is it normal for everyone? 😟

Bro, happens to the best of us! Especially after a super tiring day or if I've got a slight cold. I think it just means you're in a deep sleep and super relaxed, so your mouth just chills out. Nothing to worry about unless it's constant or causing problems.

Excessive drooling, especially if it's new or persistent, can be indicative of underlying issues like sleep apnea, sinus problems, or even certain medications. Please don't ignore it. I always advocate for consulting a specialist. A good ENT or general physician can help identify the exact cause after a proper examination.

Drooling in sleep is actually quite common! It often happens when you're in a deep sleep, particularly if you're a side or stomach sleeper, as gravity does its thing. Also, if you have a stuffy nose, you might breathe through your mouth more. If it's bothering you, try sleeping on your back or clearing your nasal passages before bed.

Yaar, actually this is super common! Mostly it happens when you're in a deep sleep or if your nose is blocked, so you're breathing from your mouth. I sometimes try a little saline spray before sleeping if my nose feels blocked. Don't worry too much about it unless it's really excessive or causes choking.
