Oh, that sounds so painful and scary! I've accidentally bitten my tongue a few times, but in my sleep? That would make me so anxious about going to bed. Does anyone else get this often? I mean, it must be so uncomfortable waking up to that. Definitely something to get checked, right?

Biting your tongue in sleep isn't ideal, especially if it's recurring. It could be due to bruxism (teeth grinding) or even sometimes related to certain sleep disorders. With high BP, I'm always mindful of stress and sleep quality. If it's frequent, you should definitely consult your doctor or a dentist. They can check for teeth grinding or suggest a sleep study if needed.

Oh dear, that must be very uncomfortable and painful to wake up to. Sometimes, people bite their tongue if they are grinding their teeth in sleep or if there is a problem with the alignment of the jaw. My grandfather used to grind his teeth a lot. It is best to consult a dentist or a sleep specialist. They can examine your mouth and sleep patterns properly and give you accurate advice.

Biting your tongue in sleep, that is not good. Sometimes people say it happens when you are very stressed or thinking too much. Try to do some gentle meditation before bed. For immediate relief after biting, a little honey can help. But if it happens again and again, then you must go to a doctor or dentist, they will know best. This is not a small thing.

I can't give medical advice, but I once bit my tongue in my sleep really badly too! It was super painful for days. For me, it happened during a very stressful period. After that, I made sure to try and relax more before bed, and it hasn't happened since. If it's a regular thing for you, definitely get it checked out by a professional.
