Why do i have so much dandruff in winter?

Every winter my dandruff gets really bad, my scalp becomes so itchy and full of flakes. Is there anything specific about winter that makes it worse, or is it just me?

Oh, tell me about it! I used to panic every winter, thinking my scalp was doomed. But turns out, it's pretty normal because the air gets so dry. Your scalp just reacts by getting flaky. It's usually not a big deal, just need to change your routine a bit. Don't stress too much!

Winter dandruff is a classic! Your scalp gets dry because of the cold, dry air and sometimes using very hot water for showers. My tip: don't wash your hair everyday, use a good moisturizing shampoo, and apply a mild oil (like jojoba or light coconut oil) to your scalp after washing while it's still damp. It makes a huge difference.

Haan, mere saath bhi hota hai. Winter mein baal aur scalp dono dry ho jaate hain, na? It's just the weather changing, not usually something serious. Thoda oiling karo, aur cold water se avoid karo hair wash. Warm water theek hai, but not very hot. Try anti-dandruff shampoo for winter.

Oh, I've tried every home remedy under the sun for winter dandruff! What I found most helpful was regular oil massages with coconut or almond oil before shampooing. Also, using a humidifier in my room helped a bit. It’s all about putting back that moisture the dry air takes away. It's a battle, I know!

Dandruff often gets worse in winter. For me, with high BP, I'm always mindful of general health impacting everything. Stress and lifestyle can affect skin and scalp too. So, make sure you're sleeping well and managing stress. If it's very persistent, get it checked, because sometimes there are underlying reasons. Regular checkups are key.

While dandruff is mainly a scalp thing, keeping your body hydrated and fit helps with overall skin health. I try to drink plenty of water and do my morning walk even in winter. It might not directly cure dandruff but can help maintain general skin and scalp health. For specific treatment, a doctor is best.

I totally get it! Winter is brutal for the scalp. The lack of humidity just sucks the moisture out, making it dry and flaky. It's super uncomfortable. What usually helps me is a good leave-in conditioner or a special scalp serum for dry conditions.

Winter dandruff is like that unwanted guest, right? 🙄 Happens to so many people because the air is drier and sometimes we use hotter water for baths. Try oiling your hair more often and a good hydrating shampoo. You got this! ✨
