Why do i have so much dandruff after showering?

It's so annoying, no matter how well I wash my hair, within an hour or two after showering, I can already see flakes of dandruff. My hair actually looks clean but my scalp is still a mess.

Achha, after showering? It means your scalp is drying out or the shampoo is not rinsed properly. Try using lukewarm water instead of very hot water, and make sure you rinse your hair thoroughly. Also, changing your shampoo to a mild one might help. Sometimes even a little conditioner on the ends can prevent dryness.

See, if it's happening every time after showering, it's not just regular dryness. Could be a fungal thing, could be sensitivity to product. Better not to guess. Go to a dermatologist, get it properly checked. They can tell you exactly what's going on and what treatment you need. Safety first always.

OMG, same dude! It's like, I wash my hair and then BAM, more flakes. My friend told me it could be because I'm not rinsing out the shampoo well enough, or maybe the hot water is stripping my scalp. Def trying cooler water now. Also, using a specific anti-dandruff shampoo helped thoda.

Dandruff can sometimes be related to hormonal imbalances, like thyroid issues. I noticed my scalp got worse when my thyroid levels were off. It might be worth getting a general health checkup, including your thyroid, just to rule out any underlying causes. Always follow up with your doctor about these persistent issues.

Try apple cider vinegar rinse after shampoo – dilute it heavily with water, apply, wait a few minutes, then rinse. It helps balance scalp pH. Also, make sure your shampoo is sulfate-free. But if it's severe, very itchy, or persistent, please consult a dermatologist. They can prescribe medicated shampoos if needed.

Our skin, including our scalp, reflects our internal state. Perhaps your scalp is a bit stressed? Gentle scalp massages with some light oil before washing might help, and ensure you are not using very harsh chemicals. Sometimes, even the temperature of the water can make a difference. Be gentle with your body.
