Why do i have pain in my left ovary?
For the past few months, I've had this dull ache in my left ovary, especially around my period. My sister said it could be PCOS, but I'm not sure. What might be causing this pain?

Ovarian pain is not something to ignore, especially if it's persistent. It could be ovulation pain, a cyst, or something else. Best to get a quick ultrasound and check-up with a gynaecologist. It saves time and worry later.
Pain in the ovarian region should definitely be investigated. Don't self-diagnose. Book an appointment with a good gynaecologist. Make sure you clearly explain all your symptoms and any other related discomfort. They will guide you best on tests or next steps.
Take care of yourself. Pain in that area can be worrying. It's good to get it checked by a doctor to understand why it's happening. Hope you feel better very soon.
As someone with PCOS, I know ovarian pain can be a range of things, from cysts to just ovulation discomfort. But it's really important not to self-diagnose. Go to a gynaecologist and get an ultrasound done. They can tell you exactly what's going on.
Sometimes abdominal pain can feel like it's from the ovary, but it might be something else, like muscle pull from exercise or even digestive issues. But with anything related to reproductive organs, it's smart to see a Gynae. Keep up a good diet and stay active, but get the pain checked.
