Why do i get eczema in the winter?

My skin is usually fine, but every year, as soon as the winter chill sets in, patches of eczema appear on my arms and legs. It gets really itchy and dry, and moisturizers only help a little. Why do I specifically get eczema in the winter?

Eczema can be tricky. For those with diabetes, skin conditions sometimes need extra care. Winter's dry air can definitely trigger eczema. My doctor always stresses on good moisturization and avoiding very hot water, and also managing blood sugar, as overall health impacts skin health. Don't scratch!

Winter is notorious for triggering eczema. The dry air, both outdoors and from indoor heating, depletes skin moisture. Hot showers also strip natural oils. Consistent moisturization with a thick, emollient cream right after bathing is crucial. Avoid harsh soaps and prolonged exposure to cold winds. If it's severe, see a dermatologist.

Haan beta, sardi mein chamdi ka dhyan zyada rakhna padta hai. Dryness ki wajah se eczema jaisi takleefen badh jaati hain. Mujhe bhi hoti thi. Bas khoob tel lagao aur garmi se bachna thoda. Yeh mausam ka asar hai, zyada chinta mat karna, theek ho jaayega.

Sardi mein twacha bahut sookh jaati hai beta, isiliye eczema badh jaata hai. Ghar pe ghee ya nariyal tel laga ke dekho, bahut araam milta hai. Nahaate waqt garam paani se bachna. Lekin agar khujli aur laalapan zyada ho, toh doctor ko dikhana hi behtar hai, ignore mat karna.

Oh, tell me about it! Winter eczema is the absolute worst. The dry air just sucks all the moisture out. I used to apply fresh aloe vera or coconut oil. But a good dermatologist prescribed a cream that finally worked for me. Keep your skin moisturized constantly, that's key.
