Why do i get cavities even though i brush?

I brush my teeth every morning and night, and I don't really have a super sweet tooth. But somehow, I still keep getting cavities. It feels like no matter what I do, they just pop up. What could be the reason for this?

Yaar, same problem! I brush everyday, but still cavities happen. Actually, my dentist told me it's not just brushing, sometimes it's about the acidity in your mouth or if you're eating too many hidden sugars. Or even how you're brushing, like not covering all surfaces. So many things, na?

It's not just about brushing. Your diet, especially frequent sugar intake, and even genetics play a huge role. Are you brushing correctly? Flossing? Using fluoride toothpaste? A dentist can pinpoint the exact reason, it's rarely just one thing.

Even with brushing, cavities can form, my child. Sometimes it is the kind of food we eat, or if we do not rinse our mouth after eating. My mother always said to rinse with water. But ultimately, a doctor's visit is important to understand why this is happening to you specifically.

My son used to get cavities despite brushing properly. His dentist explained that kids often miss spots, or maybe their enamel isn't as strong. For adults, it could be diet or even gum issues. Make sure your brushing technique is good and visit your dentist for proper guidance, don't just rely on brushing.

Haan, kabhi kabhi hota hai beta. Acha se brush karne ke baad bhi daant mein keeda lag jaata hai. Paani theek se nahi peete, ya meetha zyada khaate hain, toh ho sakta hai. Din mein 2 baar brushing ke saath neem ke datun se bhi kulla kar sakte ho. Lekin agar zyada ho toh doctor ko dikhao zaroor.

Don't feel bad, it happens to many people. Cavities aren't just about brushing; it's a mix of diet, genetics, and even the natural acidity of your saliva. Make sure you're flossing regularly and seeing your dentist for check-ups. They can give you better advice and catch any issues early.

I used to freak out about this! I thought I was doing something terribly wrong. But my dentist calmly explained that even with perfect brushing, if you have a very sugary diet, or if your saliva isn't protective enough, cavities can still form. It’s normal, just focus on regular check-ups.

Arre yaar, life is like that only! You do everything right, and still something goes wrong. Brushing is like doing your homework, but cavities are the pop quiz you didn't study for. Could be your sweet tooth or just bad luck with teeth genes. My dentist always blames my chai addiction.

Good oral hygiene is crucial, just like physical fitness. Brushing is just one part. Are you flossing daily? How much sugar is in your diet? Even some fruits are very acidic. Regular dental check-ups are like your health check-ups. Stay consistent and keep moving!

It can be really frustrating, right? While good hygiene helps, sometimes other factors are at play. With PCOS, hormonal imbalances can sometimes affect overall health including oral health, but it's not a direct cause of cavities. It's best to consult a dentist to understand your specific situation and rule out any other underlying factors.
