Why do i feel feverish but no fever?

Sometimes I just feel completely feverish – body aches, tired, hot flashes, but when I take my temperature, it's totally normal. It's so confusing! Is this a common experience or something I should look into?

Bhai, aisa bahut baar hota hai.

I track my body temp with my smartwatch sometimes, and even when I feel hot and achey, the temp reads normal. Could be stress, dehydration, or just your body gearing up to fight something. Check your hydration and maybe try some light stretches if you feel up to it.

Haan yaar, this is my default setting after 40! Body feels like it's running a marathon inside, but thermometer says 'sab theek hai'. Usually it's just me being tired from work or maybe ate something outside. Try to relax, that's my only hack now.

Namaste. Sometimes, this sensation comes from an imbalance of the doshas, or an accumulation of internal heat from stress or improper diet. Gentle pranayama and meditation can help calm the system. Also, ensure you are well-hydrated. If your body continues to feel distressed, please consult a medical professional.

My doctor once explained that feeling feverish without a fever can happen due to various reasons like viral infections in their early stages, chronic fatigue, stress, dehydration, or even inflammatory responses. It means your body is definitely fighting something or under some strain. Keep monitoring and if it continues, get a proper check-up.

Being someone with PCOS, I've learned that sometimes hormonal fluctuations can make you feel 'off' or feverish without an actual fever. It's really confusing. It could also be stress or fatigue. Just listen to your body and if it persists, it's wise to consult a doctor.
