Why do i feel cold when sick but no fever?

Last week, I felt really sick, with body aches and a general unwell feeling, but when I checked my temperature, there was no fever. I also felt really cold and shivered a lot. What could cause that kind of feeling without an actual fever?

Yaar, same here! Bohot baar aisa hota hai. Body poori shiver karti hai but thermometer pe dekh toh normal. Actualy, I think it's like your body is trying to fight off whatever's making you sick, so it feels cold. Just bundle up, usually it passes.

Oh, I totally get this! It's like your internal thermostat is broken, right? Sometimes my body feels so shivery even if there's no fever. I just take a warm shower and drink some hot ginger tea, that usually helps me feel better. Hope you feel well soon!

Haan na! It's like my body is asking for a big bowl of hot soup and a blanket! When I feel cold but no fever, all I want is some garam garam maggi and a hot cup of coffee. Maybe it's just your body's way of telling you to chill and eat something comforting?

I've experienced this several times, and often it's the initial phase of your body fighting off an infection or virus, even before a fever kicks in. Sometimes dehydration can also cause it. Ensure you're drinking plenty of fluids and resting. If it gets worse, a doctor visit is best.

Bro, happens to me all the time! Especially after late-night study sessions. Feels like I'm freezing even if it's not cold outside. My friends also say it's just my body being dramatic. Drink something hot, you'll be fine.

It's so unsettling to feel cold and sick when the thermometer says you're fine, right? It makes you question if you're overreacting or if something is really wrong. Your feelings are valid; it's your body giving you signals. Just be gentle with yourself and monitor how you feel.
