Why dandruff coming?

Suddenly, I'm noticing a lot of dandruff. My head feels itchy and there are white flakes everywhere, especially when I comb my hair. What could be causing this unexpected problem?

Don't ignore it too long. I thought it was just regular dandruff for ages, but it turned out to be a fungal infection which needed proper medication. A dermatologist can really help figure out the exact cause, please go get it checked.

Sometimes imbalances in our body, linked to stress or diet, can show up as dandruff. Beyond external remedies, try to manage your stress with gentle breathing exercises (pranayama) and ensure you have a balanced diet. A healthy inside often reflects on the outside.

Ugh, tell me about it! I struggled with it too. For me, it was a combination of not washing my hair enough (oily scalp!) and using the wrong products. Try an anti-dandruff shampoo for a bit and see if it helps. If not, a doc can recommend something stronger.

Dandruff can be quite persistent. For some, hormonal changes (like with PCOS) can affect scalp health too, making it more oily or dry. Along with trying specific shampoos, consider if other factors like stress or diet might be playing a role, and don't hesitate to consult a doctor.

Dandruff can have different causes, not just dry scalp. It could be fungal, or even related to skin conditions. For proper treatment, it's always safest to consult a dermatologist to get a clear diagnosis and the right course of action.
