I'm having a lot of trouble falling asleep lately, it feels like my brain just won't switch off. Why can't I sleep at night even when I'm exhausted?

I totally get it, the feeling of just lying there, watching the clock tick. It's so frustrating! Sometimes it's stress, sometimes it's too much coffee. Try to identify what might be keeping you up.

My daughter used to have trouble sleeping. We made a strict 'no screen time' rule an hour before bed and read her a book. For adults, maybe try a similar wind-down routine. A calm mind helps a lot.

If you have any underlying health conditions, sometimes sleep can be affected. For me, managing my blood sugar levels carefully is important for good sleep. Also, avoid heavy, sugary meals close to bedtime, as that can spike blood sugar and disturb sleep.

Bhabhi, neend na aaye toh mann mein shanti rakhna chahiye. Kabhi kabhi thodi der baahar ghoom lo, ya bhagwan ka naam lo. Din bhar ki thakaan bhi hoti hai, toh sharir ko aaram chahiye. Jaldi so jaao.

Bete, neend na aaye toh dil aur dimaag ko shant karna chahiye. Ek gilas garam doodh pee lo, ya pairon par thoda tel malish kar lo. Aur phone ko toh dur hi rakho bistar se. Yeh sab choti choti cheezein madad karti hain.

Is it like, your mind is just too active? Or you just feel restless? I sometimes find it hard to sleep too, and I'm not sure why. What do you usually do before trying to sleep?

Yaar, I swear, sometimes my brain just decides to play a full movie reel at night. Too much thinking, actually. Try to do something relaxing before bed, like reading a physical book, not on phone. Works for me sometimes!

This is a common issue, don't worry. Many factors like stress, irregular sleep schedule, caffeine, or even light from gadgets can disrupt sleep. Try to make your bedroom a sanctuary for sleep only. Keep it dark, quiet, and cool.
