Why cang i sleep?

Off late, I'm just unable to get a good night's sleep. Even when I'm tired, I lie awake for hours. Any idea why I might be struggling to sleep so much?

Lack of sleep can be due to many things – stress, screen time, irregular schedule. Try fixing your sleep hygiene first. Set a bedtime, avoid caffeine late, and get off your phone an hour before sleep. See if that helps.

Sometimes a good workout during the day can make a huge difference. But don't do it too close to bedtime! Also, watch your diet – heavy meals late at night can disturb sleep. A balanced routine usually helps.

Before you think of expensive tests or treatments, try simple changes. Is your room comfortable? Is it dark? Sometimes even getting a better pillow or mattress can help, though those can be a bit pricey. Start with free changes first.

My doctor explained that often, it's our circadian rhythm being off. Exposure to blue light from screens before bed can disrupt melatonin production. They suggested a strict no-screens policy 1-2 hours before sleep and a consistent sleep-wake schedule, even on weekends.

Dude, same! Sometimes I just can't shut my brain off. Exams, assignments, overthinking everything. I try listening to some chill music or podcasts, sometimes it works, sometimes I'm just staring at the ceiling. Ugh.

Is your brain throwing a party and forgot to invite you? Haha, kidding! But seriously, sometimes our minds are just too active. Maybe try telling your brain it's sleepy time, like a little kid. Or count sheep, the boring ones, not the exciting ones!
