Why am i vomiting yellow liquid?

I've been feeling quite sick after eating something yesterday and now I'm vomiting yellow liquid. Is this normal if you have an upset stomach, or should I be worried?

Yellow liquid is typically bile, which means your stomach is empty and the body is bringing up digestive fluids. This happens with intense or prolonged vomiting. You need to keep hydrated, maybe with ORS, and see a GP soon. They can help diagnose why you're so nauseous.

Hey, that sounds really concerning! Yellow liquid is usually bile, which means your stomach is completely empty and your body is still trying to get rid of something. It can happen with a severe stomach bug or very bad morning sickness. Please go see a doctor soon, you need to find out the cause.

When I had severe nausea related to my thyroid issues, I sometimes vomited yellow liquid. It means your stomach is empty and bile is coming up. This is not normal and needs a doctor's consultation. Make sure you also mention any other symptoms you have, like fatigue or changes in weight.

Oh, that sounds very unpleasant. Is it like a bright yellow or more pale? I heard that yellow vomit can be bile, which happens if you haven't eaten anything. Should one go to the hospital if this happens?

Yellow liquid vomit is a sign of bile, indicating an empty and irritated stomach. It's often related to prolonged vomiting or an underlying digestive issue. Log your symptoms and frequency, and definitely consult a doctor for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. Dehydration is a risk here.
