Why am i vomiting phlegm?

I've had a bad cold for a while and now I'm constantly coughing up phlegm. Recently, I've started vomiting phlegm too. Is this related to my cold or something new?

Vomiting phlegm means there's some irritation or infection in your respiratory system, or maybe even your stomach is reacting. With my BP, I've learned that any new symptom needs a quick checkup. Don't delay, sometimes simple things can become complicated if ignored. See a doctor.

Oh, this sounds really uncomfortable! I've had something similar when I had a bad cold or chest infection. Usually, it's just your body trying to clear out mucus. But if it's constant or you have a fever, better to get it checked, right?

Haan, mere saath bhi hua hai jab bohot zyaada cough ho jaata hai. Sometimes it's just from that post-nasal drip from a cold. Lekin agar zyada ho raha hai na, ya saans lene mein problem ho, toh doc ko dikha dena chahiye. Take care!

Please don't ignore this. I once thought it was just a bad cold and kept delaying, but it turned into bronchitis. It's always best to get a proper diagnosis from a doctor, even if it feels minor. Better safe than sorry!

Hey, don't worry too much but do keep an eye on it. Vomiting phlegm usually means your body is trying to expel mucus from an infection or allergy. Make sure you're hydrating well. If it persists or you feel unwell otherwise, a doctor's visit is a good idea to rule out anything serious.

Yes, sounds like congestion or an irritation. Try steam inhalation, it helps loosen the phlegm.
