Why am i still vomiting at 17 weeks pregnant?

I'm 17 weeks pregnant and still experiencing persistent vomiting, sometimes several times a day. It's so exhausting and I'm worried about getting enough nutrients for the baby. Everyone keeps saying it will stop, but it hasn't. What could be happening?

Oh, I remember panicking around that time too! Everyone said morning sickness ends at 12-14 weeks, but I was still throwing up till almost 20. My doctor reassured me that while less common, it does happen and as long as I was hydrating and baby was growing, it was okay. Don't worry, but keep your doctor very updated.

Aww, sending you virtual hugs! 🤗 That's really tough to still be going through that. Remember to take sips of water and bland snacks. Keep talking to your doctor about it, they might have new ideas! You're doing great! ✨

Beti, don't worry too much, but talk to your doctor clearly. My neighbor's daughter also had this problem for many months. She just ate very small meals, mostly roti and dal, and rested a lot. Your body is doing big work, give it time and care.

Oh god, this would make me so anxious! I'd be constantly searching online for 'when does morning sickness end' and freaking myself out. It's okay to feel worried, but remember every pregnancy is different. Just make sure your doctor is aware of how severe and prolonged it is, and don't hesitate to ask for interventions.

Dude, that sounds brutal! 17 weeks is quite a stretch. My friend's sister also had it bad, she just lived on lemon water and biscuits for weeks. Seriously though, if it's impacting you badly, maybe get a second opinion from a different doctor if yours isn't helping much?

Haan, sometimes yeh vomiting bahot lambi chalti hai. My cousin also had a tough time, she was advised to keep sips of water and some dry toast handy all the time, na. Don't let yourself get too empty stomach. But haan, consult your doc regularly, they might give some meds.

Yaar, that's just not fair! 17 weeks is a long time to be feeling so sick. Actually, sometimes it's Hyperemesis Gravidarum, which is more severe than normal morning sickness. Please talk to your gynae very specifically about it, and don't just 'manage' it. You need proper medical support.

I can only imagine how emotionally draining this must be. It's not just physical; the constant nausea and vomiting can make you feel so low. Please be kind to yourself. Acknowledge what you're going through and don't feel guilty about resting or seeking all the support you need.
