Why am i not getting rem sleep?

My doctor asked me about my sleep quality and I realized I don't remember dreaming much anymore. Could it be that I'm not getting enough REM sleep? I feel tired and can't focus properly.

Earlier, I used to just brush off sleep problems thinking it's stress. But when I finally saw a doc, it was something else. Don't make my mistake, please get it checked properly. Your body needs that REM for proper rest.

Lack of REM sleep can really mess with your energy levels for workouts. If your doctor says it's okay, maybe try some moderate exercise earlier in the day? Like a brisk walk or some yoga. It helps regulate sleep cycles for many.

Dude, same! My sleep tracker always says my REM is low. Maybe it's all the late-night studying and binging shows? 😅 My friend said having a good routine helps, but who has that in college, right?

I'm always worried about my sleep quality, especially REM. Does anyone else get super vivid dreams when they *do* get REM sleep? I feel like I'm missing out on something important when I don't get enough.

Just last year I was struggling with this. My doc suggested light therapy and establishing a super dark, quiet bedroom. Also, I cut off all screen time one hour before bed. It took time, but my REM sleep improved a lot. Give it a shot.

It's completely normal to feel anxious when you notice something off with your sleep. I used to panic thinking the worst. Just remember, identifying the problem is the first step. Take a deep breath and then consider talking to a sleep specialist or your general physician.
