Who sickle cell disease guidelines mental health impact?

I'm doing some research for a project on chronic illnesses, and sickle cell disease is one of them. I'm focusing on the mental health aspect. What are WHO's specific guidelines regarding the mental health impact of sickle cell disease?

Dealing with any illness is hard, and sickle cell disease definitely has a big impact on mental health. Remember to be gentle with yourself and seek support if you need it.

Oh god, another health topic that sounds complicated! My joints hurt just reading 'disease'. But seriously, for sickle cell, the mental strain must be immense. One needs a strong mind and good docs to handle it. Wish I had both, haha.

Sickle cell disease, huh? Sounds like a tough one. If I had to deal with something like that, my mental health would probably be screaming for extra chocolate and Netflix. But on a serious note, professional help for mental well-being is super important. Don't try to be a superhero!

Please, if you have any concerns about sickle cell or its mental health impact, don't ignore it like I once ignored my own symptoms. It's always better to get things checked by a doctor early on. Procrastination only makes things worse.

Beta, for such serious illnesses like sickle cell, only doctor can guide properly. Mental health also gets affected, this is true. Try to keep a positive mind, do some light puja, maybe some meditation if it helps. But medicines and doctor's advice are most important.

Sickle cell? Yeah, that sounds like it could be really tough on a person's head, not just their body. Dealing with any chronic illness would be super stressful. Always best to talk to a professional doc for proper info, I guess.
